ITALIAN PRIME MINISTERIAL DECREE of 7 AUGUST
THE ITALIAN EXHIBITIONS INDUSTRY WILL BE OPENING AGAIN ON 1 SEPTEMBER
Aefi is pleased to report that the Italian Prime Ministerial Decree stipulated on 7 August has set a definitive date for the exhibitions industry to open its doors again.
From 1 September 2020, exhibition centres will be able to host fairs and conferences, conditional on the adoption of protocols validated by the Technical/scientific committee and social distancing measures dependent on the size and characteristics of the exhibition facilities themselves.
This good news enables Italian exhibition centres to concretely plan their activities for the coming months. It also enables international exhibitors and visitors to organise their attendance at Italian events.
The stipulation of a single date for re-opening the industry nationwide is essential for the adoption of a new national and international calendar of events by all industry professionals.
