EXHIBITIONS (AEFI): GREEN PASS A FURTHER GUARANTEE OF SAFETY, POSITIVE ACTION BY THE GOVERNMENT

“We welcome the decision of Prime Minister Draghi and his Cabinet to extend the requirement to exhibit the Green Pass when entering exhibitions held in Italy. This solution has been hoped for by the majority of exhibition organisers, exhibitors and foreign buyers in the run up to the 335 events scheduled for the remainder of the year.” Maurizio Danese, President of Aefi – Italian Exhibition and Trade Fair Association, commented this evening’s Cabinet decision.

“Thanks to this decree,” added the President of the association of which 96% of Italian exhibition centres are members, “our exhibitions, already regulated by the safety protocols validated by the Foreign and Health Ministries, will be even safer from August onwards. We hope that these additional safety measures will facilitate the priority corridors available to foreign buyers and thus enable Italian companies to resume their participation at our trade fairs, which generate business for around 60 bn euro every year.”
