
SANDERS BECOMES DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF AEC
The AEC/AEO/AEV Project Director John Sanders has been appointed Deputy Director for the Association of Exhibition Contractors (AEC). Sanders will be understudy to AEC Director Austen Hawkins, providing the additional management and support that the growing association requires. Trevor Foley Group Chief Executive of the EIA said, “As the AEC has grown so rapidly over recent months it has become necessary to increase the management structure to support the association. John has already demonstrated a tremendous understanding and delivery of AEC member needs and his commitment to the AEC and to the wider events industry cause is exemplary. Sanders (35) will continue his role as Project Director to the EIA group alongside this new AEC position. He said ” I’m delighted to be taking on this role within the AEC at such an important time.
