JCK VEGAS EXPANSION FROM NEXT YEAR

In response to demands from current exhibitors, the JCK Las Vegas show management has decided to expand the show from next year to provide extra space to current exhibitors as well as for a few new country pavilions at a second venue – the Las Vegas Convention Center. Stating this during a press conference at the JCK Delhi show, Dave Bonaparte, the Reed Exhibitions group’s JCK event group vice-president, told journalists that the expanded show would include a luxury gift pavilion, a new product category for the show. He added that the new pavilion would help build sales. According to Bonaparte, the existing show venue at the Sands Expo Center was also slated for expansion, with formal plans having been announced. He expected the Sands expansion to be completed by 2009, when he expected the show to move back together under one roof. In answer to a question, he said that presently, the Reed Exhibitions group had no plans for any show in China. ” />
