GJEPC partners to launch New Delhi show FEBRUARY 21, 2006 – New Delhi, India — In an effort to bolster the Indian jewelry industry, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) will partner with Reed Exhibitions to launch JCK New Delhi in September. The show is slated for Sept. 28-30 at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India. Created in 1966, non-profit GJEPC represents more than 6,500 jewelers from India. It strives to promote Indian exports of jewelry and gems. “The jewelry industry relies heavily on the promotion of its products,” GJEPC Chairman Bakul R. Mehta said in a release. “This alliance will greatly enhance the industry’s promotional efforts. ” Reed Exhibitions organizes trade and public shows in 32 countries worldwide.
