Australian Exhibition Services rebranded

ferret.com.au, 3 July 2006 – Australian Exhibition Services, organisers of Manufacturing Technology InFocus, has announced that with effect from July 1, 2006, the company will be known as Diversified Exhibitions Australia, thus aligning with its US parent company, Diversified Business Communications. The re-branding is a further step towards consolidating Diversified Exhibitions Australia’s position as one of Australia’s leading exhibition organisers, and part of a global network spanning four continents. Since the formation of Australian Exhibition Services (AES) in 1982, the company has organised more than 400 successful exhibitions and gained a reputation for delivering expertly managed, large-scale trade and consumer exhibitions of the highest calibre in key market sectors. This successful track-record and extensive portfolio resulted in its acquisition by Diversified Business Communications in 2000. Today’s announcement reflects and reinforces the professionalism of both companies, now branding under the same banner. “By embracing the Diversified name, we are being acknowledged as part of this highly respected global organisation, as well as taking the next step in our evolution which will assist in further company expansion,” Graeme Selby, Chairman of Diversified Exhibitions Australia and founder of AES, said. “As Diversified Exhibitions Australia, our name will more accurately reflect the broad range of industry sectors in our portfolio, which spans food through to robotics. “The diversity in our exhibition program has been a critical factor in our success. Recognising this in our name is not only a reminder of our origins, but it also paves the way for expansion into different types of events and associated activities,” Mr Selby said.
