
AUMA hosts 10th German Trade Fair Forum in Wiesbaden
According to the motto “Trade Fairs: Marketplaces for Innovations”, AUMA – the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry – is organizing the German Trade Fair Forum for the 10th time on 17th and 18th May 2006 in the Kurhaus Wiesbaden. The keynote address will be given by Hannes Schwaderer, Managing Director of Intel Central Europe and a member of the Executive Board of the D 21 initiative, an industry-wide network of around 200 companies and institutions dedicated to strengthening the innovativeness of German industry. He will speak on the topic of “Marketing for innovations – Is Germany’s economy falling behind?” The question “Market-oriented company management – What can trade fair organizers and exhibiting companies improve?” will be considered by Prof. Dr. Franz-Rudolf Esch, Director of the Institute for Brand and Communication Research at the Justus Liebig University Gießen and Vice President of the German Marketing Association. Further lectures will deal with the question “Trade fairs within the economy’s sales process – Where are the strengths and weaknesses?”, the trade fair market in India and “Consulting concepts for exhibitors – Good enough? Customized enough?”. The subsequent panel discussion will consider the question “Which event concepts do exhibitors need in future?”
