THE OBSERVATORY OF ECONOMIC TRENDS IN THE TRADE FAIR SECTOR, THIRD TRIMESTER 2009 RESULTS

Devised by AEFI to constantly monitor trends in the trade fair system’s
activities, the Observatory of economic trends in the Trade Fair sector
continues its work with the second survey based on the III trimester
2009.
When compared to the corresponding trimester the previous
year, opinions expressed by the interviewees relating to the III
trimester 2009 highlight that although an unfavourable situation
persists, there are also important signs of improvement.
Moreover,
there is an improvement in the evolution predicted for the 2009
October-December trimester, as regards the number of exhibitions, the
number of exhibitors, occupied surface area and the number of visitors,
even though considerable uncertainty remains.
