ITALIAN FAIRS: CULTURE, ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AND INNOVATION FOR THE GLOBAL MARKET

On Tuesday 3rd April at 11am, the headquarters of the Foreign Press Association in Italy (Via dell'Umiltà 83/C Rome) will host the presentation of the trade promotion program "Italian Fairs: culture, environmental quality and innovation for the global market", published by the AEFI in the context of the sectorial agreement with the Ministry for International Trade and the ICE, and in collaboration with Alinari and the Italian Touring Club.
This will be an opportunity for in-depth discussion of the current role of trade fairs in the promotion of the Italian economy, the importance of the strategic combination of trade fairs and tourism and the Italian expo system's history and culture. Participants will include Emma Bonino, Minister for International trade, H.E. Ambassador Umberto Vattani, chairman of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, AEFI chairman Raffaele Cercola, Alinari chairman Claudio de Polo and Guido Venturini, general manager of Italian Touring Club.
Attendees will receive a copy of the book entitled ITALIAFIERA - From the Universal Exhibitions to the global market 1861-2006", published together with Alinari, and the bilingual guide "Italian Trade Fairs and Exhibitions", published with the Italian Touring Club.
The AEFI (the Italian Trade Fairs and Exhibitions Association), whose forty members manage 41 of the most important exhibition centres in Italy, thus continues its activity aimed at highlighting the skills built up by Italy's great expo tradition and project them - with increasing force, dynamism and innovation - towards the future
